• Board of Regents

  Ohio has a large and diverse higher education system. The Ohio Board of Regents plans for that system, considering the needs of the people, the needs of the state, and the role of individual public and private institutions within the state in fulfilling these needs. Information on the more than 100 colleges and universities, including 38 separately governed, state-assisted colleges and universities, can be found at this site.

• Department of Natural Resources

  The history of the Department of Natural Resources is rich and varied, beginning with its creation by the Ohio Legislature in 1949. At that time, the department was charged with the responsibility of "formulating and putting into execution a long term comprehensive plan and program for the development and wise use of the natural resources of the state, to the end that the health, happiness and wholesome enjoyment of life of the people of Ohio..."

Located in Columbus, OET was formed to support the growth and development of public broadcasting in Ohio and to provide all Ohio citizens with access to the services provided by public stations.

• Office of Federal Facilities Oversight

  The Office of Federal Facilities Oversight (OFFO) was created in the Spring of 1994 by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA) . It was created to oversee investigation and remediation activities at federal cleanup sites. This office will facilitate environmental monitoring, emergency response, remedial guidance and public outreach at Department of Energy (DOE) and Department of Defense (DOD) sites in Ohio. OFFO is charged with ensuring the health and safety of the public and the environment through effective cleanup of federal sites.

  The Ohio Online Export Directory provides information related to the Ohio trade market and showcases Ohio-made products. The Ohio Department of Development's International Trade Division offers an array of services designed to help Ohio exporters to develop export markets. Ohio's worldwide trade staff provides the following services: Export Counseling, Finance and Incentives; Trade Shows and Trade Missions; Electronic Trade; and a Japan Trade Program.
