The Minnesota Center for Arts Education is a state agency combining the Arts High School and Resource Programs. The Arts High School is a statewide, tuition-free, public high school for 11th and 12th grades. Students accepted to the high school have either demonstrated or potential talent and a desire to grow. Students balance academic programs with one of six arts areas: visual, literary, media, theater, music or dance. The Resource Programs provide Minnesota students, teachers, and artists rigorous, innovative, and comprehensive teaching and learning skills, centered in the arts.
