- State of Illinois
The State of Illinois Homepage hosts information about the Governor and Lieutenant Governor, state agencies, legislature and the Capitol complex, educational institutions, libraries and museums, and Illinois tourism.
- Department of Revenue
The Department of Revenue web page offers statistical information, laws and legislation, and revenue news and publications for the State of Illinois. From this point, taxpayer assistance, electronic services, and on-line tax forms can be accessed.
- United States Geological Survey - Illinois
Real-time surface-water data, data from recent flooding, and historical stream-flow and peak-flow data is available from our server, along with links to other sources of information. Details about various USGS programs in Illinois, on-line publications, and links to our national office.
- Illinois State Board of Education
The mission of the State Board of Education is to enable all Illinois students to become confident, self-sufficient and productive citizens. To this end, the Board establishes policies that systematically support an ever-changing, life-long learning process. Furthermore, it acts as an advocate, provider and broker of community, family and state resources and services that ensure the accomplishment of the State's goals for learning.
- Lieutenant Governor, Office of
As a legislator, educator, and public servant, Lieutenant Governor Bob Kustra has fought to improve the quality of life for our children, families, businesses and local communities in Illinois. His extensive experience has led to an expansion of the role of Lt. Governor in State Government where he now serves as point person for the Governor on statewide economic development, education improvement, social services, and substance abuse prevention.
- Pollution Control Board
The Illinois Environmental Protection Act was enacted in 1970 for the purpose of establishing a comprehensive state-wide program to restore, protect and enhance the quality of the environment in our state. To implement this mandate, the Act established the Illinois Pollution Control Board (IPCB) and accorded it the authority to adopt environmental standards and regulations for the state, and to adjudicate contested cases arising from the Act and from the regulations.
- Project 12 Ways
Project 12 Ways is part of the Behavior Analysis & Therapy Program of the Rehabilitation Institute at Southern Illinois University. It offers a range of services to families in 11 Southern Illinois counties. Its primary focus is to teach children and their parents the skills necessary to get along without abuse and neglect. The guiding philosophy of Project 12-Ways is that family problems can be eased by eliminating stress-producing factors such as unemployment and by teaching parents effective child-rearing skills.
