General Resources
- Arkansas State Home Page
Visit the official Arkansas state home page for information on tourism, legislation, the executive office, the judicial branch, boards and commissions, educational resources, economic development, human resources, and much more.
- Department of Education
The mission of the Arkansas Department of Education is to promote equitable, quality education for all students in Arkansas public schools by providing leadership, service and support and by ensuring that the public schools meet the Standards for Accreditation.
- Government and Community Relations
The Government and Community Relations Office at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, is located in the Administration Building. The focus of the office is on state government relations. Efforts are made to foster communications between the campus and state government officials. Varied informational resources are maintained in the office for use by campus personnel. University employees interested in government relations activities may receive periodic email updates via a listserver by subscribing to Legis-L. It is through the Government and Community Relations office that legislators and other elected officials are assisted with constituent inquiries or concerns related to the University.
- Crime Information Center
Criminal justice in Arkansas is administered by hundreds of law enforcement, prosecution, judicial and correction agencies. Each has a different responsibility, but all share a common purpose of protecting the public and ensuring justice. For criminal justice agencies to work together effectively requires a sharing of information. Today, computer technology makes coordination of records and information sharing a very timely and efficient process. Providing this information technology is the mission of the Arkansas Crime Information Center (ACIC).
