Lemon Law Lemon laws have been enacted by almost all of the 50 states and are designed to protect consumers who may have purchased an automobile that, due to a major defect, is considered to be a "lemon." Most lemon laws provide the seller of the defective auto the opportunity to repair or replace the vehicle. In some situations, the consumer may be entitled to a full refund of the purchase price. |
